Octavia Bond

Octavia Bond played Division 1 softball at the University of California, and is now the Owner and lead instructor at 008 Training, a softball/baseball training facility in Concord, CA. Through her training sessions and camps, she teaches life lessons through softball and how to utilize these concepts for individual success. Growing up with a martial arts background, she found that respect and love for people is the best way to establish a trusting and personal relationship. Octavia has a special connection with each student she works with, and does her best to make each athlete feel unique and encouraged in all manners. In addition, she strives to maximize each individual’s confidence and self-esteem, helping the player to maximize his or her potential, and create results through this perspective. Having the opportunity to serve on the ASAF Advisory Board, and pursue the ASAF mission is an honor and privilege to share her love of the game and pass on her knowledge and experience with the future generation of athletes.
